The IDC 2026 took place in Brighton from 22 to 25 June. As part of the conference, Petra Weixelbraun and Selina Gartner had the opportunity to take part in various workshops and talks. The keynote speech on the topic of “Young V&A and V&A East”, which focused on co-creation and collaboration, provided fascinating insights into design activities with children and young people.
Despite the heatwave, the consortium members managed to gain inspiration for their own PhD projects and future research, and to explore the south of England. In addition, new relationships were built for potential collaborations.
