From 21 to 22 May 2026, Munich University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the DGS Education Section, hosted the Annual Spring Conference for Researchers in Qualification Processes. The conference focused on educational research in the digital society, with a particular emphasis on theoretical, methodological and methodological perspectives.
In addition to an inspiring keynote by Sigrid Hartong entitled “Exploring education in the (post)digital society from a sociological perspective”, two workshops on qualitative and quantitative data analysis supported by LLMs by Isabel Steinhardt and Oliver Wieczorek were offered.

During the conference, Selina Gartner had the opportunity to present the dissertation project as part of a World Café session. This was followed by a discussion with other doctoral candidates and helpful feedback from Sigrid Hartong to guide future work. We would like to thank Jana Heinz and Angela Graf for organising the event.
