The ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems is widely considered the leading international conference in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). This year, the event took place at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona from April 13–17, providing a platform for global exchange on current developments and research findings.
Among the participants were two representatives from our doctoral consortia: Petra Weixelbraun from the dig!doc consortium and Olivia Fischer from the STEAM STEM stART’em consortium. Both used the opportunity to present their current research to an international expert audience.
In addition to academic presentations and discussions, the conference by the sea offered space for new impulses and the establishment of international contacts. The insights gained and network connections made will contribute valuable perspectives to the ongoing work within the respective doctoral programs.
