The ITiCSE conference – Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education – is the premier and largest computing/informatics education conference in Europe. Selina Gartner had the opportunity to be a part of the 30th conference that took place from 13.07.2026 to 15.07.2026 at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.
During the conference, a wide variety of papers on computer science education were presented and discussed. Selina Gartner had the opportunity to gain an insight into current debates and to forge new connections with fellow researchers.
The highlight of the stay was the group visit to the Museo del Prado – one of the largest and most important art museums in the world. The university impressed with its green campus, which is home to a wide variety of animals. The campus provided pleasant, shady spots to shelter from the heat.
