Martina Spitaler successfully completed her Faculty Public Presentation at the University of Vienna (Department for Education) on April 30. Together with Sylvana Kroop, she presented the PhD-projects with the working-titles

  • “Digital competencies of lower secondary school students – Analysing the long-term acquisition of digital competencies and approaches to fostering them in the context of the tension between the compulsory subject Basic Digital Education and its integration into other subjects in Austria” by Martina Spitaler
  • “Enhancing Design Science Research (DSR) in Education: Artifact Validity, Challenges, and Application in a Coding Game for Self-Regulated Learning” by Sylvana Kroop

The head oft he study program and professors from the Doctoral School in Education provided valuable feedback opening up further perspectives on the dissertation project. These suggestions are an important input for the further planning of the project and strengthen it in the further direction of the academic work.
