In their paper, Selina Gartner and Petra Weixelbraun shed light on the crucial role of teachers in the subject of “Basic Digital Education” in Austria. They examine how these educators promote empowerment and what challenges for equity may arise. By analysing interviews with eight teachers of basic digital education, the study reveals a variety of strategies for promoting inclusion and professional development.

The stay in Brussels was characterised by inspiring encounters and deep insights into current trends and innovations in the digital education sector.

EdMedia 2024 not only offered the candidates the opportunity to make valuable contacts, but also the chance to learn from experts and gain fresh impetus for their work.
